Move it, move it, move it

As most of you know my go to is running, but in menopause this is not enough.

Your core needs help and support during this time to ensure it is strong and holds up to the hormone loss and also ageing. We all know too well how urinary issues can slip in if we neglect our core strength.

Pilates is certainly one of many exercise forms that can help at this time and sometimes I think it can help you to understand why it is that it helps. That I believe will keep you motivated to either check it out and if you do stick with it.

In the times when zooms, google meets are the norm it has never been easier to attend a pilates class from the comfort of your own home.

Andrea O’Grady, is a Physical Therapist and Pilates Instructor and chats to me about how it has helped her anxiety and how your body can benefit from this gentle form of exercise at any stage of life.
